01What this policy covers

This policy explains what happens to personal information when you use happiest-minds.com or contact Happiest Minds through this site. It covers the website only — not any separate agreement you may sign with us for engineering services, which has its own data terms.

02Information you give us

The contact form is the only place this site asks for personal information. When you submit it, you provide:

• First and last name
• Work email address
• Phone number (optional)
• Company name
• Your role (optional)
• Service you are interested in, and an indicative budget range
• The message you write

The form currently opens your own email application with these details filled in, so the message reaches us as an ordinary email from your mailbox. If we later switch to submitting the form directly to a processor, we will name that processor here.

03Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider records standard server logs for every request: IP address, browser and operating system, the page requested, and a timestamp. These are kept for security, abuse prevention and diagnosing faults.

Beyond those logs, this site collects nothing automatically. There is no analytics, no advertising or tracking pixel, and no profiling of visitors.

04What we deliberately do not do

Stated plainly, because these are the things people most often assume:

• No cookies. This site sets none — see the Cookie Policy.
• No analytics or advertising trackers. No Google Analytics, no pixels, no tag manager.
• No third-party requests. Fonts and images are served from our own domain, so browsing this site does not reveal your visit to anyone else.
• We never sell or rent personal information.

05Why we use it, and on what basis

We use what you send us to reply to your enquiry, prepare a proposal, and keep a record of the conversation. Where Indian law applies, we rely on the consent you give when submitting the form. Where the GDPR applies, our basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries; for server logs, our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.

We will not use your details for unrelated marketing without asking you first.

06Who else sees it

Your enquiry is handled by Happiest Minds staff who need to see it. It also passes through the infrastructure that carries it:

• Our hosting provider, which operates the servers and produces the access logs described above.
• Our email provider, which transmits and stores the message.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it. Otherwise it goes no further.

07How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months from our last exchange with you, so we can pick up a conversation that resumes later. If the enquiry becomes a signed engagement, the relevant records are kept for as long as that contract and applicable tax and company law require. Server logs are retained on the hosting provider's standard schedule, typically a few weeks.

Ask us to delete your enquiry sooner and we will, unless we are legally required to keep it.

08Keeping it secure

The site is served over HTTPS with a valid certificate, so what you send is encrypted in transit. Access to enquiry email is limited to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the small amount of data involved.

09Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to confirm what personal data we hold about you, correct or complete it, erase it, withdraw consent, or nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf.

If you are in the UK or European Economic Area, the GDPR additionally gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.

10Grievances

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, contact our grievance officer at info@happiestmind.in or by post at B-4 Shapath Hexa, Prahladnagar, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 380015, India, marked for the attention of the Grievance Officer. We will acknowledge your complaint and respond within the timeframes set by the DPDP Act.

11Children

This is a business-to-business site and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, tell us and we will delete it.

12Changes to this policy

If we change how this site handles personal information — for example by adding analytics or routing the form through a third-party service — we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
